
A native and lifelong resident of the Carolinas, Joseph L. Ray (Joey) is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law. Mr. Ray is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association. He served as a Council Member for the General Practice Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and as President of the Columbus County Bar Association. He also served as President of the Bar for the Judicial District consisting of Columbus, Brunswick and Bladen Counties. As an Initial Member of the NC Dispute Resolution Commission he participated in the development of the Mediated Settlement Conference Program for the State of North Carolina.
Mr. Ray has been in practice since 1987 and began private practice in 2013. His general practice maintains a strong emphasis on real estate law, estate planning, and Social Security Disability. As his practice continues into its third decade, Mr. Ray remains a compassionate and dedicated advocate for his clients.
